The Military Oath-Taking Ceremony for newly admitted students of the University of Internal Affairs of Mongolia for the 2026–2027 academic year was held in a solemn atmosphere today (August 22, 2026) at the Training and Practice Center in Gunjiin Khooloi.
Members of the Administrative Council of the University of Internal Affairs, faculty and staff members, and representatives of the students’ families attended the oath-taking ceremony.
Vice President and Director of the Research and Innovation Department of the University of Internal Affairs, Doctor (Ph.D), Police Colonel Ts. Azbayar addressed to the newly admitted students:
“I extend my warmest congratulations to our distinguished cadets who have been admitted to the University of Internal Affairs for the 2026–2027 academic year after successfully passing the entrance examination, health, physical fitness, and psychological assessments among more than 9,500 applicants, and successfully completing the “Basic Military Training” program before taking the Military Oath of Mongolia.
May you feel warmly welcomed to the academic center of learning of the University of Internal Affairs of Mongolia. I extend my sincere best wishes for your success as you diligently pursue your studies and research in the diverse fields of law, security studies, and emergency management. May you grow into outstanding public servants who uphold and respect human rights, strictly adhere to the principles of law and justice, and demonstrate leadership through their professional knowledge, competencies, and skills”.
Approximately 570 students successfully completed the demanding “Basic Military Training program”. They solemnly pledged to serve their country and people with dedication and without hesitation, and received their certificates. Following the ceremony, the newly admitted students donned their cadet insignia, officially becoming cadets of the University of Internal Affairs.
During the Military Oath-Taking Ceremony, the cadets demonstrated what they had learned during their training to visiting guests and parents through cultural performances, military drills, and martial arts demonstrations, followed by a ceremonial parade.
