✅ About APTA: The Association of Police Training Institutions in Asia is a prestigious and influential regional professional association that unites 35 institutes from 19 Asian countries and 4 international organizations. It focuses on developing cooperation in law enforcement education, training, and research. Notably, the Academic and Publication Committees were established during the 9th General Assembly.
✅ UIA’s Involvement: The University of Internal Affairs (UIA) of Mongolia joined the association in 2015. Since then, it has consistently participated in annual activities, including the General Assembly Annual Meeting (GAAM), International Academic Seminars, the Police Academy Student Festival in Asia (PASFA), Student Academic Conferences, and various working group meetings. Currently, UIA chairs the Academic Committee.
✅ Leadership: The President of the University of Internal Affairs currently serves as the Vice President of APTA. During the event, Brigadier General T. Sukhbold stated:
"On behalf of the University of Internal Affairs of Mongolia and myself, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all the delegates who have come to participate in the 10th General Assembly Annual Meeting of APTA. We consider it a high honor and a significant responsibility that the Association granted us the opportunity to host this prestigious meeting in Mongolia. We have worked diligently to ensure a successful outcome. Our goal is to shape future law enforcement officers who are not only professionally knowledgeable but also ethical, respectful of human rights, and capable of collaborating at an international level. I am confident that today's meeting will further strengthen our friendship, cooperation, mutual trust, and exchange of knowledge and experience, while opening doors to new ideas, partnerships, and opportunities."
✅ Key Outcomes: During the assembly, the APTA Strategic Plan for 2024-2028 was presented. Additionally, the People's Security Academy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam was officially inducted as a new member of the association. The meeting concluded with introductory presentations from the participating member institutions.
