REPRESENTATIVES OF THE UNIVERSITY OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS ATTENDED THE 29TH INTERPA EXECUTIVE BOARD MEETING

The 29th Executive Board Meeting of the International Association of Police Academies (INTERPA) took place from July 1–4, 2026, in Jakarta and Semarang, Republic of Indonesia. Representing the University of Internal Affairs (UIA) were Police Colonel G. Mungunshagai, Head of the Monitoring, Analysis, Evaluation, and Internal Audit Department, and Police Captain Ts. Chingunjav, Director of the E-Learning Institute of the Training Department.

During the meeting, the schedule for the 15th and 16th General Council meetings, as well as the 30th, 31st, and 32nd Executive Board meetings for 2026-2027, was established. Participants exchanged information on key programs currently being implemented by police training institutions, specifically in the areas of Cybersecurity and International Criminology programs. Furthermore, the board reviewed the association’s activity reports, future development policies, and strategic goals. Discussions also focused on expanding international cooperation in police education, strengthening partnerships between member institutions, exchanging best practices, and defining future projects in joint research and innovation.

In the margins of the Executive Board meeting, the UIA representatives held bilateral meetings with delegates from the National Forensic Sciences University of India and the Faculty of Law Enforcement of Hungary to exchange views on future collaboration.

INTERPA was established in 2011 as an international platform dedicated to fostering cooperation among police education and training institutions worldwide, promoting the exchange of knowledge and experience, and supporting research and innovation. Currently, the association consists of 82 training institutions from 65 countries. During this session, the Executive Board also discussed and resolved the membership application of the Republic of Kazakhstan to join INTERPA.
