The 92nd Graduation Ceremony of the University of Internal Affairs and the 96th Graduation Ceremony of the National Defense University, which are among the oldest educational universities in Mongolia, took place majestically today (June 27, 2026) at Sukhbaatar Square.
The ceremony was attended by the President of Mongolia and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces U.Khurelsukh, Member of the State Great Hural (Parliament) and Government, Minister of Justice and Home Affairs S.Amarsaikhan, Secretary of the National Security Council of Mongolia A.Byambajargal, President of the University of Internal Affairs, Doctor (Ph.D.), Professor, Brigadier General T.Sukhbold, as well as leaders of state military and law enforcement agencies, leaders of cooperative foreign embassies, and academic professors.
During this event, the President of Mongolia and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, U.Khurelsukh, delivered a congratulatory message to the graduates. He expressed his full confidence that the graduates will honorably fulfill their duties to protect the independence, territory, and safety of the citizens of Mongolia. He urged them to keep pace with the rapid development of science, technology, and military affairs, constantly improve their knowledge and education, and be true masters of their chosen professions and awarded ranks.
In the 2025-2026 academic year, 21 students graduated from 4 master's programs at the Management Academy of the University of Internal Affairs, and 455 cadets and students graduated from 12 bachelor's programs across the Police School, Border Service School, Court Decision Execution School, Emergency Management School, and Forensic Science School.
The President of Mongolia and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, U.Khurelsukh, presented degree diplomas, badges, and ranks to the outstanding graduates.
Leaving their mark in the history of their university and leading others through their academic, research, art, and sports achievements, 41 graduates received a "Diploma of Excellence." These included B.Tumenjargal and Ts.Saruulsaikhan from the Management Academy; S.Dulguun and B.Erkhem-Erdene from the Police School; T.Otgontugs and T.Badamragchaa from the Border Service School; Z.Erdenebileg and A.Yanjin from the Court Decision Execution School; L.Otgonbaatar from the Emergency Management School; and Ch.Anujin and B.Yesu from the Forensic Science School.
Additionally, 112 cadets and students were awarded certificates granting them the right to enroll in master's programs without entrance exams, and 1 student was awarded the right to enroll in a doctoral program without an entrance exam.
Thus, the newly commissioned officers joining the ranks of the state special service, with their shining golden epaulets, are ready to take on the honorable and responsible duty of protecting internal security across the country. They stand prepared to combat crime, enforce the law, ensure public safety, guard the state borders, execute court decisions, conduct forensic analyses, and implement disaster response and rescue operations.
