The graduation ceremony for the 2025-2026 academic year of the University of Internal Affairs—an institution with a rich 92-year history of glory and achievement, decorated with the Order of Sukhbaatar, the Order of Military Merit, and the Order of Combat Merit—was held today (June 19, 2026) at the University’s parade ground.
The ceremony was attended by Brigadier General T. Sukhbold, President of the University of Internal Affairs, Doctor (Ph.D.), and Professor; D. Gantuya, Director of the Finance and Investment Department of the Cabinet Secretariat; Colonel E. Sodnompiljee, Paralympic champion and Hero of Labor of Mongolia; U. Surenjav, Paralympic champion and Hero of Labor of Mongolia; as well as the University management, staff, graduates, and family representatives.
During the event, Brigadier General T. Sukhbold stated: “I want to emphasize that today is a day of graduation and a day of pride. Not everyone who wishes to can enroll in the University of Internal Affairs. You have earned the prestigious title of being associated with this university for life by standing out among many competitive young peers. Furthermore, not everyone who enrolls can graduate. You have every right to be proud of yourselves for overcoming numerous difficulties and challenges from enrollment to graduation through your knowledge, skills, endurance, patience, hard work, and the strength of your classmates.”
In the 2025-2026 academic year, more than 560 cadets are graduating from the bachelor's programs, and 21 students are graduating from the Management Academy.
During the "Academic Celebration," awards were presented by the President's order to graduates who left their mark on the history of their alma mater and led their peers in academic performance, research work, arts, and sports.
The "Academic Celebration" concluded with the ringing of the final bell for the 2025-2026 academic year and the graduates marching in a ceremonial parade.
We wish happiness and great success to all our graduates as they depart to the four corners of their motherland to fulfill the honorable and responsible duty of protecting internal security.
