The Financial Planning Department operates under the Finance and Logistics Department with a total of 12 staff members. The department consists of the Head of Department, a Senior Budget and Investment Specialist, a Senior Accountant, four Accountants, and five Warehouse Keepers.

The department operates with the primary responsibility of fully implementing tasks specified in its functions in accordance with the Law of Mongolia on Budget, the Law on Accounting, the Law on Glass Accounts, and other relevant legislation and regulations. Key responsibilities include:

Accurately determining the financing for the University’s strategic development programs and initiatives;
Managing the budget efficiently and providing support to ensure overall performance;
Monitoring the utilization, storage, and protection of assets through accounting records;
Preparing the University’s financial statements and budget execution reports within the legally mandated deadlines;
Ensuring transparency and openness in budget execution and expenditure.
