"The Doctoral Defense Council in Law Enforcement and Internal Affairs establishes a 7-member Doctoral Defense Sub-council on a case-by-case basis, aligned with each candidate's research topic, by order of the University President. To date, a total of 41 doctoral degrees have been successfully defended through the sessions of the Doctoral Defense Sub-councils in Law Enforcement, Internal Affairs, and Law."

To organize doctoral degree defense proceedings;
To deliberate on dissertations at a professional level, verify their theoretical and methodological rigor, research results, significance, and accuracy; to determine the originality of the work in comparison to other studies, and to issue evaluations and conclusions;
To provide proposals and recommendations on pressing issues within advanced-level research in the relevant field.
