"The Doctoral Defense Council in Law establishes a 7-member Doctoral Defense Sub-council for each occasion, aligned with the candidate’s research topic, by the order of the University President. To date, a total of 41 doctoral degrees have been awarded through the sessions of the Doctoral Defense Sub-councils in Law Enforcement, Internal Affairs, and Legal Sciences."

To provide proposals and recommendations on pressing issues within advanced-level research in the relevant field;
To organize doctoral degree defense proceedings;
To deliberate on dissertations at a professional level, verifying their theoretical and methodological rigor, research results, significance, and accuracy; to determine the originality (novelty) of the work in comparison to other researchers’ works, and to issue evaluations and conclusions.
