"The charter defines the Academic Sub-council as a scientific and methodological team authorized to deliberate on the results of the university's academic research and to issue conclusions, proposals, and recommendations. The Sub-council is a non-standing (ad-hoc) body that provides an opportunity for the leadership of the Academic Councils of the University of Internal Affairs' constituent schools, as well as scientists from various fields, to participate openly in the discussion of relevant issues."

Гүйцэтгэх чиг үүрэг

  • To deliberate and issue resolutions on the approval and modification of research fields and topics for doctoral and master's degree candidates, as well as the appointment of affiliated departments, academic councils, research supervisors, and advisory teams;
  • To deliberate and issue resolutions on whether doctoral dissertations (works) shall proceed to defense;
  • To submit proposals regarding the establishment of Master's degree defense councils and modifications to their composition;
  • To review and provide conclusions on the development and amendment of research policies, technologies, methodologies, and legal/regulatory documents;
  • To issue conclusions on the granting of research leave (for academic work);
  • To issue conclusions on the awarding of academic titles and submit nominations for honorary and emeritus titles;
  • Others falling within the scope of the Council’s functions.
